Jessie was baptized!!!!!

Emailing and P-day at the church.  Fun Fun!

Happpppppy Monday!!

This week has been so so good. We have been crazy busy, as usual, which is the greatest thing ever!! I love this work so much, I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful work! I have THE BEST calling in the world!!

Let's start out with the HIGHLIGHT of the week...... Jessie was baptized!!!!!!!!!! Holy cow, it was such an amazing night! Jessie has truly become one of my greatest friends. She was glowing all night and looked so extremely happy. I love being able to see people as they know the covenants they are making with Heavenly Father and seeing the blessings shower them. Jessie sang a song that she wrote and performed it right before she was baptized and it was so amazing and then after she was baptized, she bore such a powerful testimony. The spirit was so strong at her baptism.  Not to mention, there was SO MUCH support. Holy cow, our ward is so amazing and supportive. The whole entire room was packed. I sure love Jessie.  She was confirmed on Sunday, so she is now an OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE CHURCH!!!!

Stefano is doing great. He is opening up to us and let us know that he is nervous to be baptized, but he knows he needs to do it. We pushed him back to the 19th of November, but we know God has a plan, and if it's God’s will, it will happen. We know he can do it; he just needs to not be nervous. (Which is easier said than done) Ryan, his main fellowshipper is so wonderful. He invited Stefano to fast to see if November 19 is when he needs to be baptized. It was such a wonderful invitation and we know that Heavenly Father will answer his prayers and recognize how much he wants it as he fasted. Hopefully he will be able to recognize his answer. We will see, I know he can do it!!

We were on campus the other day (right after Trump won) and there was a protest on campus, (I've never heard so many profound words in one place in my life.) plus there was some weird guy standing on a box preaching about how everyone are sinners. We were just walking around and stopped to listen and then he starts calling us out. Emma Claire was with us as well. It was pretty funny. We didn't give him the time of day, he wanted us to fight back, but we just laughed, so he moved on to someone else. The joys of being on a crazy, liberal, very non Mormon campus! We make it on snapchat at least once a week. #gettingfamous. They also held an anti-Mormon convention a few weeks ago. Bless them.

We had zone pday today. We went to the mission home and cleaned the inside and outside of their house. We then had lunch together! It was super fun!! We are now at the church playing sports.

Also..... This weekend is transfer calls. Guys I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! It feels like this transfer just started. I know they are messing with me. Wow, time is flying by way too fast... I'm not ready for this last transfer at all. I decided I am going to stay out on my mission forever, sorry mom! Haha just kidding.  But I sure do love it out here!!

Scripture of the week: 3 Nephi 19:20-25. We had a combined lesson yesterday in church. Sister Fitt and I had to do a little part in it; she read a quote from a conference talk. It was about the people who were told not to proselyte and then the people said, "But what are we going to do with the light in their eyes." Okay.. sorry, that was like the worst description ever. (It's in Be an example in the light. October 2015, it's super good) but this scripture our bishop told us to read and relate to that quote. It's when Jesus Christ is praying and asks to give the Holy Ghost to his disciples. I love verse 25 it's says, "And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof." I LOVE this verse. It just shows and tells us that as members of the church we have the Holy Ghost with us. We need to be an example to those around us. We have the Holy Ghost with us and the light of Christ. Share it!! :) (go read that whole chapter, it's really good)

I love y'all to the moon and back 194859 times. Don't forget Sister Brooks in VA loves you!
